Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP)

Learn effective communication strategies. So often, it seems we are misunderstood however; we get stuck in our same old patterns that dont work. The 8th Side Empowerment Coaching will show you how to create changes in your thinking and communication styles to achieve better results.

 
This is a simple approach to changing and modifying behavior. NLP studies the structure of how we think and experience the world. It allows you to reprogram negative experiences to make positive life changes. Its theoretical foundation rests on a range of disciplines, including various psychological fields, linguistics, cognitive science and occupational therapy.

Timeline Therapy

Have you ever overreacted to a situation and used a negative emotion inappropriately? Do you sometimes feel overwhelmed with negative emotions and miss out on events such as family functions or dinners?

 
Our past experiences and memories will affect how we handle day to day situations. It's like a freight train, the more stuff you add, the harder it is to stop. We can overreact at the smallest things because of our programming and past emotional events. When this happens, we seldom achieve the results we want. Time Line Therapy can help us change that.

 
Time Line Therapy is a process that assists us:

3. Create our future the way we want it.

 
These are the three major techniques that comprise Time Line Therapythey are easy to do and make a significant change in a person's life.

Reiki

A Reiki healing session can induce an extremely comfortable state of being that can bring alteration in the client's consciousness.

How does Reiki work?

ReikiLong-term practice of whole-body reiki will restore the general condition of the body. It will open the energy channels and this will allow the body to deal properly and naturally with stress and build-up toxins and cope with anxiety and depression.

When a person is in good health, regular therapy will increase the body's built-in defenses. This will manifest itself as confidence and outward harmony in dealing with everyday events. The person will gain a positive outlook on life.

Reiki will also provide additional energy required to recover from illness.

If used with other natural therapies (meditation, crystals, aroma therapy, Bach Flower remedies, homeopathy, etc.) Reiki will reinforce their effect.

It can be used also as complementary therapy, because Reiki is truly a complementary care. It complements and enhances the health care the patient receives in the hospital or from other health care providers.

Reiki healing complements Eastern and Western medicine and everybody can benefit from it. It is beneficial to the health of woman (even pregnant), man, children and it is also excellent to be used on animals (dogs, cats, horses), plants, water, etc.

Reiki healing energy is a tool for use at any moment, any time, anywhere for on the spot stress release, pain relief and quick energy.

Hot Stone MassageFull body Hot Stone Massage: Hot Stone Energy Massage uses smooth basalt stones that are gently heated and oiled to massage your body - using long flowing strokes and pressure to suit your needs. Throughout the treatment the stones are placed on the body's energy points and will remain there for most of the massage. This promotes a sense of calm and well-being. You will find this massage to be a deeply relaxing experience.

Hot Stone Couples Energy Therapy Massage: What a better way to share a relaxing and healing session, than with your partner, friend, or sister. With the use of two massage tables, Kyla and partner Meesh'l will massage two people. What a better way to share an afternoon or evening. Evening massages are done by candlelight.

Full Body Energy Healing Relaxation Massage is a stress releasing calming light massage with Reiki healing energy that brings one inner peace and tranquility. With the use of aromatherapy and reiki, one begins to heal while relaxing in a warm comfortable environment.

With the use of two massage tables, Kyla and partner Meesh'l will massage both parties at once. Home Spa Parties: Gather a group of friends and enjoy the comfort of hot stone massage in your home. We will bring massage table and stones to you!! We require a minumin of four people. What a great way to get together with friends.



Meditation

If you analyze the word “Meditation” and lexigram it (take the letters from a word to create new words) you can create “it”, “tame”, and “mind”. This is exactly what mediation does, “it tames the mind.”

MeditationSo how do you tame the mind? Well, like anything else you intend to accomplish it takes time, determination and desire.

There are many ways to meditate. These include: relaxation meditation, walking meditation, music meditation, breathing meditation, mantra or prayer meditation, and many more.

Ideally, you need to find one that fits into your lifestyle and works for you.

The object of meditation is to quiet the mind for an amount of time in order to give yourself a mental time out. Any of the above methods are effective and all you need to do is dedicate 15-30 minutes twice a day to do it.

Meditating every day can help a person:
Heal the body, de-stress, relax, lower blood pressure, and rejuvenate

Below is a sample breathing meditation. You will need:

- a quiet relaxing space with no phone or distractions
- a comfortable place to sit or lay down
- a blanket
- pillows for your head and under your knees if you choose to lay down (a pillow under the knees helps to support the lower back)
- an Egg timer or stopwatch
- a candle or incense
- 15-30 minutes
- the desire to make this a part of your day

Process:

- Light your candle
- Set your timer for the amount of time you intend to meditate
- Sit or lay down in a nice comfortable position (try not to fall asleep)
- Cover yourself with your blanket
- Place palms facing up on your lap, or by your sides
- Inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth and mentally count one for every inhale exhale combination
until you reach five
- Start again at one
- If you become aware of any thoughts you are having, simply say to them “not now” and start back with your breath and number one
- Continue to do this until your timer goes off

As you persistently do this every day, you will begin to find that your mind slowly becomes quiet and time just drifts by unnoticed. This is how you tame the wild beast within.

Some people find it very difficult to meditate without guidance because their mind is too strong for them to control at first. The solution for this is to find a guided meditation class in your local area and do group meditation. This will enable a person to understand why meditation has become such an international phenomenon.

Guided group meditation is a great way to quiet the mind, find inner calmness and clarity, and take some time out for you.
